The manager of the Cluster Health of Galicia (Cluster Saúde de Galicia), Gisela García-Álvarez, has spoken with El Español to explain the main keys of the IV Fórum RIES19 that will be held on October 23rd and 24th in A Coruña (Read the full article here).
Remember that Galicia “is the second oldest community in the world after Japan” and “is at the forefront” in many research related to the Silver Economy. “We should not see the aging of the population as an expense; there is a world of specialized services and products that can be offered.” she says.
Gisela García-Álvarez is convinced that Galicia can act “as a great laboratory in which to develop solutions for a future with a better quality of life for the elderly”. The Cluster manager also advances to El Español some of the pioneering initiatives that will be presented in the IV Forum RIES19, such as the one related to facilitating the employability of people over 50 years of age.
