III Fórum RIES18 theme is “Smart, healthy and friendly cities” and will take place in Pontevedra, Galicia, along three days: 24th, 25th and 26th of October. Being the 25th the central day opened to all public.
Furthermore, as explained by the Cluster Manager of the Cluster Saúde de Galicia (Galician Health Cluster – CSG), Gisela García Álvarez, “thanks to the success of the two previous editions, we were able to expand the program for sponsors, speakers, authorities and guests by two days, with a program, that will address the challenges, opportunities, advances and developments that are being generated in the health and social care sector of Galicia and the rest of the world.
” She stresses: ” The final objective is to achieve cities that are as healthy, livable and integrative possible “. The program of this edition highlights the presence, of Carlos Moreno, Professor and researcher of Paris I-Pantheon Sorbonne and president of InTI (Innovation, Technology and Investment) together with Edna Pasher, founder and president of Israel Smart City Institute, who will address the technologies, in the service of the citizens in Smart Cities around the world.
The forum is completed with several round tables with panels of regional, national and international that will lead debates on technologies and on current and future projects in health.
The afternoon program will include various practical workshops around the main themes of the meeting: technological advances in improving health, mobility, technology, intergenerational relationships, active aging and others.
Galician Health Cluster – CSG
